Terms of Service

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Unlimited Portfolios LLC ("Unlimited Portfolios", "we", "our", "us"). They govern your use of unlimitedportfolios.com and the related applications, features and APIs (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. Who can use the Service

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. You're responsible for your account, for keeping your sign-in credentials secure, and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at support@unlimitedportfolios.com if you think your account has been accessed without your permission. Accounts are for one person; Club, Campus and Team plans may add members as described in your plan.

3. What the Service is, and what it isn't

Unlimited Portfolios is a research and education tool. It helps you screen US-listed stocks and ETFs, record and track portfolios, compare alternatives and keep a record of your decisions.

  • Not advice. Nothing on the Service is investment, legal, tax or accounting advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security. We are not a broker-dealer, investment adviser or financial planner. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions; consider consulting a qualified professional.
  • No orders, no custody. We never place orders, hold your money or securities, or connect to your brokerage account to trade. Buys, sells and allocations you record in a portfolio are entries in your own records, priced at the delayed quote or latest available close shown at the time.
  • Hypothetical results. Historical strategy previews, stress windows, evaluations and comparisons use historical data and hypothetical assumptions. They do not represent actual trading, may not reflect costs, taxes or market impact, and have inherent limitations. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Investing involves risk, including the loss of principal.
  • AI features. Some features use AI models to summarize, interpret or explain information. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Check important information before relying on it.

4. Market data and third-party content

Market data, fundamentals, filings and other third-party content on the Service come from third-party providers. Screener data is end-of-day; quotes may be delayed. Data can be incomplete, delayed or wrong, and providers may change or withdraw it. We don't guarantee its accuracy, completeness or timeliness. Third-party data is provided for your personal use within the Service and is subject to our providers' terms: you may not copy, redistribute, resell or publish it outside the Service, except as the Service's own sharing features allow.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you add to the Service, such as portfolios, recorded trades, notes, decision memos and uploaded files ("Your Content"). You give us a limited license to host, store, process and display Your Content only as needed to operate, secure and improve the Service and to provide it to you.

If you publish a portfolio card or other public content, you give us a worldwide, royalty-free license to display it publicly on the Service, including on leaderboards, until you unpublish it. You're responsible for anything you publish. It must be accurate to the best of your knowledge and must not be used to promote a security for manipulation, to mislead others, or to disclose information you're not allowed to share.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • scrape, crawl or bulk-download the Service or its data, or access it by automated means other than the API we provide, within your plan's quota;
  • copy, redistribute, resell or sublicense the Service or any data from it;
  • circumvent plan limits, access controls, rate limits or security measures, or share an account to avoid plan limits;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or interfere with the Service, or probe it for vulnerabilities without our written permission;
  • use the Service to break any law or regulation, including securities laws, or to infringe anyone's rights;
  • upload malware or content that is unlawful, harmful or abusive.

7. Plans, subscriptions and billing

Free and paid plans. Some features are free. Paid plans add features and higher limits, as described on our pricing page. Prices and plan details are shown before you subscribe.

Automatic renewal. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or annually, and renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the then-current price, until you cancel. If we change the price of your plan, we'll tell you at least thirty days before the change takes effect; it applies from your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.

Payments. Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method for each billing period, plus any applicable taxes. If a payment fails, paid features may be paused until the payment succeeds.

Plan changes. You can switch plans from the billing portal. Charges or credits for a mid-period change are calculated as shown in the billing portal before you confirm.

Research credits. Monthly research credits reset at the start of each billing period, don't roll over, and have no cash value.

8. Cancellation and refunds

How to cancel. You can cancel any time from Billing, then Manage billing, or by emailing support@unlimitedportfolios.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep paid features until then; after that, your account moves to the free plan and its limits apply.

Refunds. Except as required by law or stated here, payments are non-refundable, and we don't give refunds or credits for partial billing periods or unused features. If you cancel within seven days of your first payment for an annual plan, we'll refund that payment in full.

Refunded or disputed payments. If a payment is refunded or disputed, paid features may be paused while the refund or dispute is resolved.

9. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may add, change or remove features. If we make a material change to these Terms, we'll tell you by email or in the Service at least thirty days before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after the change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you don't agree, you can cancel and stop using the Service.

10. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from Settings. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, if we're required to by law, or if your use creates risk or harm for us, other users or our providers. When possible, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to export Your Content. Sections 3, 4, 5 (for content you published), 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 survive termination.

11. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, lessons, evaluations and trademarks, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. Subject to these Terms, we give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own research, or for your organization's internal research on a Team plan. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.

12. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE AND ALL DATA AND CONTENT ON IT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON'T WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE OR ERROR-FREE.

13. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY INVESTMENT LOSSES, LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN TOLD THEY ARE POSSIBLE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE OR US$100. SOME JURISDICTIONS DON'T ALLOW THESE LIMITATIONS, SO THEY MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

14. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your violation of these Terms or the law, or from content you publish on the Service.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Kent County, Delaware, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at support@unlimitedportfolios.com and try to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

16. General

These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If any part is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision isn't a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. We'll send notices to the email address on your account.
